Brief info

Lexi Lombardi graduated from Ohio University in 2017 where she received her Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography. After training for fifteen years at Triplett Dance Academy she is disciplined in styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, tap, pointe, African, and musical theater. She has worked with distinguished artists such as Christy McNeil Chand, Travis Gatling, Jesse Keller, Kaitlin Webster, LaCeda Nelson, Lara Branen, Doug Nielson, and original Alwin Nikolis dancer Gladys Bailin-Stern. She served as an apprentice for Interweave Dance Theater located in Boulder, Colorado. While at OU, summers were spent at Point Park University International Summer Dance Intensive as well as Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop. In 2015 Lombardi’s choreography was featured in the Ohio Dance Festival. She spent her junior and senior year as the Level II Jazz Dance Instructor and Introduction to Ballet Dance Instructor for the Division of Dance at Ohio University. At the Ashland Youth Ballet in Kentucky, she did a residency where she choreographed a modern production piece with over forty dancers. Lexi Lombardi is the recipient of the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship and the J. Langdon Taylor Endowment. Lexi, now calling New York her home is celebrating her third year at Moves and Motions and is so excited to be working with both our dance teams and our progressive dance programs. She loves her students and is super motivated for season 35!
